Theme II. Vision

The participants start by doing an exciting exercise of hanging nails for about 10 minutes including debrief. They are going to work with simple products: wood and nails. The group will divide you into groups and give each group 17 nails and one wooden plank with a drilled hole.”

 

“Now, your group’s goal is to hang sixteen of these nails on one nail.

Do your best to work out the fastest way to do this. Try to be the first group with the solution.

 

Let’s now discuss the lessons in the exercise related to vision

  1. Vision appears difficult or impossible at the beginning
  2. Vision with determination patience, perseverance and creativity is achievable
  3. Achievement of vision require team work
  4. Achievement of vision follows overcoming barriers
  5. Every resource at your disposal can be creatively used to achieve the intended results
