Planting
Bambara groundnut can be planted from late October, through November to early December, after good rains.
Space ridges at 90 cm or 75 cm apart
Plant one seed per station spaced at 15 cm apart on the ridges
Where plant on flat is necessary, space planting rows 45 cm apart and plant one seed per planting station spaced 15 cm on each row.
45 x 15 cm spacing gives higher yield than 90 x 15 cm
Seed rate of 100 to 110 kg per hectare is used.
